Shoe Solution

I've been searching for sneakers I liked for a long time now - a long time as in years.  I finally found the solution with some fancy Missoni patterned Chucks! I haven't actually actually worn a pair of Chucks since the '90s when I had a plaid pair during my grunge phase, that was a long time ago.

You can see there is actual green grass under the shoes which means I took the picture in the summer but they're still going strong now, they just aren't quite as white....

I've started looking for a new pair now because I'll need a new pair in a couple of years.  Maybe sooner.  I have to say it's nice to have a pair that is work-appropriate in certain situations.  Some clients will appreciate them and some won't.

Wanted: Pool House Project

Because I really want to use this Bolon flooring in one.

{via Bolon}

It looks a bit like carpet in the photo but it's actually a woven vinyl flooring so it wouldn't be ruined by water or dirt like carpet would.  I'm pretty sure using this would make the project my favorite project ever.   Who's in?

Target & Missoni

I went over to Target today to see the Missoni items and by 1 pm the store looked like it had been ransacked.  All I can think is the running of the brides at Filene's Basement {and if you don't know what that is, see this clip}.  There was a woman there with a friend telling her everything she had purchased that morning which seemed to be everything they were selling, and that the line was crazy long in the morning.  It's a good thing I waited because I would have been driven crazy if I had to wait in line.

I tried to see things online before I went and was met with this.

To me, the collection was about what I expected it would be.  The stuff was okay but it's still Target quality so I got some socks, folders and a candle {future super cute pencil holder}, but overall nothing I felt was super special.  I'd kind of rather save up for the real thing.  Someday.

Did anyone get anything they absolutely loved?
