Waiting For Cooler Days
I'm still waiting for cooler, or at least less humid, days. In the meantime, these kitchens look like they would stay cool even on the hottest days.

Complete Chaos
I am in the middle of an organization frenzy which means things are a big mess {mostly my papers which I decided to organize after I found all my tax receipts in different places}. I'm hoping this slideshow will help motivate me to move things along.

Nightstands
I have an old step stool as one of my nightstands - I've been using it ever since I was a college student and it works {kind of}. Most of the problem is that the cat really likes jumping around under it and flinging stuff off the top, so nothing really stays on it.
Sometimes I think about buying one that I can actually put stuff in but not until I find the perfect one. I really like some of the nightstands in this slide show.

All Gray
After all the beautiful days we've had lately, today is supposed to be gray. In celebration I thought I would post a slide show of gray interiors from Houzz.
I think love the living room with the "shaggy monsters" on the floor best.

The largest apartment I have lived in was about 550 square feet {and I shared that one} so I have always had to work with small spaces. This Houzz slide show has some fabulous ideas if you're short on space but don't want to give up on style.

Veronika's Houzz Tour
I was poking about on Houzz today, they have such amazing spaces, and fell in love with a house tour from Veronika of A Few Things From My Life. I'm glad I found both her house tour and her blog as both are wonderful.

Modern Rustic Renovation
I found this modern rustic (or modern country) house in Los Gatos, California by Mark English Architects. I love the yellow color found in the entryway and the kitchen, it's very cheery and welcoming. I think that the whole house is fabulously sparse but still quite warm.
I really wish there was a better image of the circular lighting(?) kind of seen through the front window. I would love to see what it is.
